Broussard General Information:  Originally we thought "Broussard" was French for Buzzard and really got a kick out of that image with this airplane.  Actually, it means "bush man" which is a very appropriate name for this "Beaver on steroids."  The Broussard first flew in 1954 a total of 335 where built.  Used by French Armee de L’Air and Aeronavale, and used by most former French territories in Africa and even in Argentina for parachute training.  “Broussard”  really means “bushman” or “colonist”.

N16MH:  Built in 1956, this Broussard was the 16th Broussard built and was restored by Peter Houghton and painted in French Navy colors for Bill.  It was then sold to Alan who has restored it further.  It still sports two bullet holes from the French-Algerian conflict.
