Diana Anders

Diana is a qualified white-knuckle flyer (passenger), but supports the pilots and plane-lovers in the family in various ways… such as scratching the mascot “wampus” cat, as depicted above. She has recently returned to the US after several years of residence in Europe, where she worked on European/Nordic gender research, education and policy projects and did her Masters work at London School of Economics focusing on Gender Studies and Political Theory. She started her  Ph.D.  program at UC Berkeley in September of 2002. Aside from her scholarly endeavors, she is making efforts to assimilate to California lifestyle, complete with regular yoga classes, beach walks and with dreams of being a rock star (not really, although she does sing back-up vocals for her brother Eric’s band ‘Everymen’ on occasion.  Maybe a ‘a few men and an occasional woman’ might be a more appropriate name? J ).
