USAF Heritage Flight

Purpose:  The USAF Heritage Flight is a part of the USAF Aerial Demonstration Teams airshow programs.  For the full story, visit the USAF Heritage flight web page, for more info and photo's!

Bill Anders is one of the original and very few civilian Heritage Flight pilots that has been cleared by Air Combat Command to fly in formation with the Air Force at airshows around the world.  Additionally, the Museum's Executive Director, Greg Anders, is also a part of this team.  The crowd loves to see this flyby of the old and the new and it has become a great recruiting tool for the Air Force as it is witnessed by millions of aviation fans, young and old.

Bill in the lead -- It Just Doesn't get any better than this!

Nellis 2005, Bill leads "Dozer" for a Heritage Flight with the FA-22.  The world's greatest fighter flying with the world's greatest fighter!!

Greg & Bill flying a very rare Strike Eagle & P-51 "Heritage Flight."  The original photo of the formation was edited by Alan to create the museum logo.

Skyraider and Warthog Heritage Flight.  Today's Warthog is the only aircraft in today's modern fighter inventory that can effectively fill the shoes of the Skyraider's performance in theaters such as SEA.  With lots of loiter time and more bombs than a B-17, the Skyraider was the ultimate CSAR, FAC, multi-role fighter, especially when employed by the Raven's!  Another view of that awesome formation.  I think Hobo 51 would have liked to have seen this formation!
Rolling in on the Abbotsford Air Show! FAC flight cleared hot! Pushed up, but easily hanging with the fast movers!
